About the Junior Fellows Summer Internship Program

The Junior Fellows Summer Internship Program runs for 10 weeks during the summer and allows both undergraduate and graduate students to obtain professional experience at one of the largest libraries in the world. Each student is paired with one department per their application preference in which they work all 10 weeks under the supervision of library staff. At the end of the summer, students have a chance to showcase their work from their time in the library at a informal Discovery Day.

A short video produced by the Library of Congress highlights the experience of previous Junior Fellows can be found here: http://www.loc.gov/hr/jrfellows/
